OAPIA's 20th Anniversary

Since its establishment in 1987, the Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (OAPIA) has been the point of contact between the District’s 20,000 Asian and Pacific Islander (API) residents and government. It has worked with all levels of government to help ensure that the full range of District programs and services are accessible to the District’s API community for the past 20 years. This celebration will highlight OAPIA’s growth and achievement throughout its 20 years of service to the District’s API community. OAPIA celebrated 20 years since its establishment in DC. It continues to ensure that the full range of District programs and services are accessible to the District's API community.
